Welcome to Old Folks Adventures. We are now a retired couple who enjoy the time we spend on our homestead and taking short trips. You can read about those trips under “Places Visited.” We have started documenting our trips on YouTube, so many of the newer posts will also include a YouTube video, along with more insights and information that we did not have time to include in the video.
Cheryl, when we are home, likes to cook. She was a kitchen manager for many years. When she has time, she adds her recipes here. She also watches our grandkids when they are not in school, which can keep her very busy. Additionally, she raises chickens and does gardening.
Michael enjoys woodworking and metalworking, which he will showcase more over time, sharing what he has done or is currently doing.
We are trying to catch up on writing about the local trips we have taken this summer. We had a very busy late summer and fall after Michael retired. We will be posting those as soon as we can. Thank you for joining us—there is more to come.
